Our approach to Advanced Process Control (APC) can be implemented on any Distributed Control System (DCS) in combination with most commonly used Multivariable Predictive Controllers (MPC) such as ADMC, DMCplus and RMPCT etc.

ADMC, for multivariable control
For enhanced superb MPC performance and plant benefits we recommend Adaptive Dynamic Matrix Control (ADMC). The key feature that separates ADMC from all other MPC technologies is that you can design your multivariable control matrix independent from the regulatory PID loop structure. This approach has opened up new APC possibilities achieving much higher benefits compared to any other MPC technology. Also equally important, the ADMC approach is proven to reduce overall maintenance demand for your complete APC system resulting in much longer sustained performance.

GDOT, for large scale dynamic optimisation
To complete our APC services we have specialised in large scale closed loop optimisation using our innovative multi unit D-RTO approach. For these installations we use a technology called Generic Dynamic Optimisation Technology (GDOT). Our D-RTO approach has proven to yield twice as much benefit over and above a typical MPC installation and stay closed loop all of the time. Improvements and robustness over traditional RTO system is incomparaby better.  An example of such project is published together with ConocoPhillips at ERTC conference in May 2007 in Rome.

In addition to our APC and Optimisation services we provide feasibility studies, maintenance and revamps to improve existing applications. DCS control design and soft sensor inferential is also services that complete our solutions.
